Raiden's test results just came in.

God.

I wish I brought him to the hospital sooner.
I do not think I can even say it yet.
It is something you see happening in television shows and movies. Not in real life.

I already told his dad. He is flying in to Manila early next week.
My mother is here too. I do not see her often, but she wanted to be here for Rai.

I will try to keep going online still. At least keep routine little normal. I was watching Ben 10 with Rai earlier. God. Why does he think Mike Morningstar is so cool?? Whatever he likes. I think Rai is doing a great job for his condition. He had a two seizures already and it is still SOO early in the day. His headaches are not as intense anymore though. I think the drugs are working for him.

We will see how goes..

Back Home

I am back here in the Philippines already. I guess I did not mention it here. I will explain later maybe. Just flew in yesterday. Raiden is really sick so I may have to take him to the hospital later. I am really worried about him, but I am try to keep it together. I think I might end up staying here for a little while even when Rai is better. I am not making much progress in States and I think Rai needs me here right now.

Crazy crazy. I was doing a show at a friend's party and someone actually came up to me and asked if I have ever modelled. I was honest and told him that the thought never crossed my mind. So he gives me his business card and I exchange with him my number. I guess I'm doing a photoshoot this weekend. ^^ I'm both nervous and excited. I will see how that goes.

I PASSED!!

I have been studying English for about a year now. I made it a goal to learn it since I decided to try living in States. It was a little hard since I was hardly spoken to in English as a child unlike Tagalog and Nihongo. I went to a few classes, did snail mail exchange, online chatting, and I even try out Rosetta Stone.

Well, after several months now, I decided to take the Bilingual test in local university.
I PASSED!

So now I am officially multilingual in English, Nihongo, and Tagalog! Yay! My father said I should try language immersion in another country. I am considering it. =D

Spectacular Spider-Sis

I have been watching the newest TV version of Spider-man with my son recently, and I am absolutely LOVING IT! It's called "The Spectacular Spider-Man". Anyone else dig this show? Hehe~ I was actually drawn to it because the art style looked really familiar. Turns out that the art director is Sean "Cheeks" Galloway. I had been a fan of his art since he started doing the Teen Titans GO! covers WAY back in the day. Anyway, the show is really good and I feel like a little kid again just by watching it. (Reminds me of the old days when I was a hardcore comic nerd.) I love the theme song too. [link] VERY catchy. I definitely want to burn that song into CD. LoL!

Just earlier I thought I'd try my hand at drawing "Cheek"y art. Oh man. It looks so terrible. But I drew a Cheeks version of me and Rai as if we were a character from the series (in the opening, it shows a few main characters from the show and every once in a while it switches up). Ohhhh good times. It looks so bad!

It's not finished yet. I still need to ink it and draw in the bg, but...hahahahaha~ I failed! At least I got my mushroom head right. x6 I might post Rai's picture later. Might not. I guess that the protective mother in me trying to keep him from being seen from the dangers of the internet.

So if you guys have not watched it yet, you should. I think in US they play it on Disney X.D., but I am not sure. I'm just crossing my fingers for a 3rd series...AND that they don't kill Gwen Stacy off. *cries* I never really cared too much for the Spider-femmes (MJ included!), but I totally love Gwen in Spectacular Spider-Man. She is full of nerdy love!

Life in Florida

My sister just had her college graduation. Wow. I cannot believe she is going to start her life soon. I wonder what she plans to do. She wants to go to either New York or California, but I think she should try going back to the Philippines and try hand at ABS-CBN. She really wants to do script-writing, so that be very cool. She said she might even try to get a job at comic book company. It be cool to have other girl writing for comics! We both have until 20 May to enjoy Florida. Then we visit Philippines for almost two months. Cannot wait!

Life here in the hostel has been nice. I have been doing plenty. I got to kayak which was AWESOME! There were plenty of wildlife and beautiful scenery. The Hillsborough River is definitely a must if anyone is ever down in this part of Florida. I also went horseback riding which I absolutely LOVED! My horse, Scarlet was an absolute doll. Apparently she is a really hard horse to ride, so when I did, everyone was so shocked to hear I was beginner level. Hahaha~

Montana has taken me to open mic nights at this one cafe. VERY cool! I have been loving it! I am very bad at poetry so I have not going up on mic. Though one of the friends I made here wants me to do a music jam with him. Haha~ Maybe, maybe not. Going there is really inspiring. It actually helped me with my art. I got my grandmother's package in the mail a week before I left California. I had a lot of goods in it including acrylic paints. She originally intended to send me watercolours, but the watercolour and acrylic tubes were so similar, she got them both mixed up. So I have been trying my hand at acrylics. I do not really know what I doing, but I think it looking ok. I need to post some of them up on deviantArt. Ahh... But most of my watchers are there for my Ben 10 stuff, and I have been doing Pop Art of real people. I will try some Ben 10 pop art. Hehehe~

I also met someone here.. Hehehe~ He go to open mic at cafe and he is such a charming man. He play guitar (which is TOTAL turn-on for me despite how cliche it be), he is vegetarian, and he is just as Earth-concious as me. x3 He is so cool he even bought me Ben 10 Omnitrix. xD Such a sweetheart. <33 I will be sad when I have to leave him behind when I leave for Philippines.

Today is Mother's Day! I got a video call from one of Raiden's nannies. I suppose they were trying to make him say Happy Mother's Day, but he has such a short attention span, he just ran up to camera once and quickly say "Happy Birthday". O_o; I guess that is close enough. I cannot wait until 20th when I see him again. Hahaha~ I heard he has a little "girlfriend" he met at park. I should meet this girlfriend and have a talk with her parents! Haha~ Kidding. But I would like to see this cute little girl. x3

Three Delivery

Anyone watch this show? One of my friends on dA just got me into it. Well, I have only seen webisodes featured on the website, but it seems fun. I'm really into wushu/kung fu, so it caught my interest. So I was talking to my cousin Ethan's few gal-pals about the show since she is also a Laoshi in Northern Shaolin Wushu. She also got interested about Three Delivery so I show her little bit of show. After we talked about it, we did a few forms just for fun and that's when it struck me. She TOTALLY reminds me of Sue! Now I can't stop thinking about Three Delivery when I think about her. ^^;

I have decide to take on random project I came up with one night. It SEEMED cool at the time, but now that I have spent 4 hours on it I want killing something. I'm using Flash 8 for this, and I am a complete newbie to the program. That itself is a mistake. Ughhh... This will probably take me weeks if not months. But I think I will try complete project. Ughh...

Flying

Just booked my flight for Florida and for the Philippines. I leave Cali for Florida end of April and I leave for the Philippines 20 May. Ugh... Looking at the map, I realise how stupid my flight itinerary is. Why couldn't my sister graduate here in California? T-T

Then I fly back to Cali 18 July, just in time for San Diego Comic Con. x3

Perris Lake

Ethan and I spent the day together. His dad went to Norwalk for the day to visit some family, so we were left with nothing to do. We decided to go to Perris Lake Park, our local state park right here on Moreno Valley. Boy. I love that place.

We were going to go jet skiing, but it was so darned cold! We were even dressed up for it and everything. Instead we went horseback riding. I haven't done that in YEARS. My butt is going to hurt in the morning, no doubt.

After that we just drove around in his fancy little mustang. It was a pretty clear day so the mountains were pretty visible. So gorgeous. I love this place.

Dakota Star

Finished up Dakota, my Fusion Fall character. I think it turned out quite well aside from the background of course. I always suck at that. D8

FINALLY!

I finally got my new camera battery charger in the mail. I'm so happy! Now I can finally post more art. I drew a lot of oekaki during my wait, but I didn't find them good enough to post on dA. =/ But now everything is better. Hahaha~

I took a picture of my drawing of my Fusion Fall character. I really like it. I just drew it today after playing a few minutes on Fusion Fall.
I had to draw in her legs though and they look silly. The picture is originally cut off under her bloomer ruffles. I might just keep it like that with no legs. I'll see. I am editing and colouring it right now.

I got a call from my grandmother today. She lives in England--she is Filippino and my late grandfather is English/Irish--so I don't hear much from her. Anyway, she found out that I've been painting a lot again recently, so she called to tell me that she just sent me a care package in the mail with a lot of watercolours and new brushes. Also a few other goods, but I'm most excited about the art supplies. I hope I get them before I go to Florida. We always have issues with the mail system so I'm expecting the worst. D;

She also sent Raiden some toys and candy for his "birthday". Ehh. Too bad his birthday was back in February, but Grandmother tends to forget these things. Haha~ Oh well. It reminded me that I should set up another video chat with Raiden. I talked to him on the phone for a little when my daddy called. But Rai's a kid and his attention span is shot, so he hung up on me when one of his shows was on. D8 Oh well. I'm hoping Rai can make it to his aunt's graduation in May. I miss him! My dad isn't sure about it though because he doesn't want to make Raiden sit through such a long flight. Oh well. I will be visiting home this summer so I'll see him then. x3
